This is the Napa Valley of the south! There are 6 wineries within a 20-30 minutes drive from our property.

Apple season runs from August through November, and you do not want to miss Ellijay’s annual Georgia Apple Festival. There are 11 apple orchards in our area. Sweet, tart, rosy or golden you will discover the many flavors and sweet treats in the North Georgia Mountains.

Just a short walk from the cabin you can access the free flowing mountain river. Take a hike on a trail of your choosing and share a meal outdoors at one of many picnic areas.

Horseback riding, orchard picking, kayaking, fishing and relaxing all at your finger tips. There is sure to be something for everyone.

Downtown Ellijay is just a short ride from Buck Valley Lodge. A quaint town square lined with antique shops and one-of-a-kind stores that are certain to hold gifts for everyone, including your furry friends. This downtown experience will satisfy your small-town dreams.
